A newspaper indicates a set of regularly printed sheets of paper consisting of news reports, articles, photographs and advertisements. It usually contains news and views of home and abroad. Man has an unquenchable thirst for news which the newspapers satisfy. It is true that with the invention of radio, TV, computer and internet men have easy access to information worldwide. Nevertheless, the enormous utility and demand of newspapers have not lessened at all. 

 

Newspapers give us news about politics, economics, culture, entertainment, literature, games and sports of the whole world. In the field of politics newspapers play a significant role. They criticize the action of government of politics and thus to formulate correct decisions by those who run the state machinery. Newspapers always keep a permanent link between buyers and sellers, producers and consumers, authors and readers. 

 

Newspapers have an important role in mobilizing public opinions on various national issues. They make us realize our duties and make us aware of our responsibilities. Sometimes, they give their own just and right opinion on various great problems of the country and thereby lead the people to the right path. 


From the point of view of education, a newspaper has a great value. It publishes the latest reports regarding the researches made, discoveries done and inventions achieved in various fields.
