Robert Bruce was a famous king. His kingdom was invaded by
enemies. The king fought bravely but was defeated in the battle. He had to save
his life. He fled away from his kingdom and took a shelter in a remote cave. He
was thinking about his kingdom. He was only thinking and thinking. At that time
he saw that a spider was trying to climb the top of the wall. But it failed
again. It failed six times. At the seventh attempt the spider was successful to
reach the top of the wall. Robert Bruce noticed this. He thought that it was a
great lesson for him, he should not idle away his time. Rather he should try
again and again to regain his kingdom. . Inspired by a spider the king decided
to attack enemies. This time he made his soldiers strong and attacked them.
Finally he could regain his kingdom.

রবার্ট ব্রুস ছিলেন বিখ্যাত রাজা। তাঁর রাজ্য শত্রুরা আক্রমণ করেছিল। রাজা সাহসের সাথে লড়াই করেছিলেন কিন্তু যুদ্ধে পরাজিত হয়েছিলেন। নিজের জীবন বাঁচাতে হয়েছিল তাকে। সে তার রাজ্য থেকে দূরে পালিয়ে একটি প্রত্যন্ত গুহায় আশ্রয় নিয়েছিল। তিনি তার রাজত্ব সম্পর্কে চিন্তা ছিল। তিনি কেবল চিন্তা-ভাবনা করছিলেন। এমন সময় সে দেখতে পেল যে একটি মাকড়সা প্রাচীরের শীর্ষে উঠার চেষ্টা করছে। তবে এটি আবার ব্যর্থ হয়েছিল। এটি ছয়বার ব্যর্থ হয়েছিল। সপ্তম প্রয়াসে মাকড়সা প্রাচীরের শীর্ষে পৌঁছাতে সফল হয়েছিল। রবার্ট ব্রুস এটি লক্ষ্য করেছেন। তিনি ভেবেছিলেন যে এটি তাঁর পক্ষে একটি দুর্দান্ত পাঠ, তাঁর সময় নিরলস করা উচিত নয়। বরং তার রাজ্য ফিরে পেতে বার বার চেষ্টা করা উচিত। । একজন মাকড়সার দ্বারা অনুপ্রাণিত হয়ে রাজা শত্রুদের আক্রমণ করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছিলেন। এবার তিনি তাঁর সৈন্যদের শক্তিশালী করলেন এবং তাদের আক্রমণ করলেন। অবশেষে তিনি তার রাজত্ব ফিরে পেতে পারেন।

Once upon a time, two friends were walking through a forest. They entered into a dense forest. Suddenly they saw a bear at a distance. The two friends became very afraid. One friend climbed up a tree. Other friend did not know how to climb a tree. He laid on ground and stopped his breathing. The bear put its head and smelt the man’s body. When the bear went away, another friend got down from the tree. He asked his friend what did the bear say in his ears. In reply, the friend said that the bear told him not to believe a friend who left a friend in danger. The second friend realized his wrong, and ashamed and finally begged pardon.

একসময় দুই বন্ধু বনের মধ্যে দিয়ে হাঁটছিল। তারা ঘন জঙ্গলে প্রবেশ করেছিল। হঠাৎ তারা দূর থেকে একটি ভালুক দেখতে পেল। দুই বন্ধু খুব ভয় পেয়ে গেল। এক বন্ধু গাছে উঠে গেল। অন্য বন্ধু কীভাবে গাছে উঠতে জানত না। সে মাটিতে শুয়ে শ্বাসকষ্ট বন্ধ করে দিল। ভালুক তার মাথা রেখে মানুষের দেহকে গন্ধযুক্ত করে। ভালুক চলে গেলে গাছ থেকে নেমে পড়ল আরেক বন্ধু। সে তার বন্ধুকে জিজ্ঞাসা করল ভালুক তার কানে কী বলেছিল। উত্তরে বন্ধুটি বলেছিল যে ভাল্লুক তাকে বলেছিল যে কোনও বন্ধুকে বিপদে ফেলে যাওয়া কোনও বন্ধুকে বিশ্বাস করবেন না। দ্বিতীয় বন্ধুটি তার ভুল বুঝতে পেরেছিল এবং লজ্জা পেয়ে অবশেষে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করে।

Hearing the crying of the boy the villagers came with bamboo, spares and other weapons. When they came, they could not see any wolf. But the boy laughed. He made it several times. The villagers lost their faith upon the boy. One day a wolf really came. This time the boy cried out for help, but none came to help. The wolf killed the boy.

একটি গ্রামে একটি কাউবয় ছিল। তিনি বনের পাশের জমিতে গরু পালন করতেন। কাউবয়টি ছিল দুর্দান্ত মিথ্যাবাদী। তিনি নিজেকে মানুষের সাথে মজা করতে উপভোগ করেছেন। তিনি প্রায়শই "নেকড়ে, নেকড়ে" কাঁদতেন! ছেলের কান্না শুনে গ্রামবাসী বাঁশ, অতিরিক্ত এবং অন্যান্য অস্ত্র নিয়ে এসেছিল। তারা এলে কোনও নেকড়ে দেখতে পেল না। ছেলেটি হেসে উঠল। তিনি এটি বেশ কয়েকবার তৈরি করেছিলেন। গ্রামবাসী ছেলেটির উপর বিশ্বাস হারিয়ে ফেলেছিল। একদিন সত্যিই একটি নেকড়ে এসেছিল। এবার ছেলেটি সাহায্যের জন্য চিৎকার করল, কিন্তু কেউ সাহায্য করতে আসেনি। নেকড়ে ছেলেটিকে মেরেছে।
