Grocery Shopping Experience *Assignment for class six

Have you ever visited any grocery shop? Why did you go there and who with? What did you see there? If you are yet to visit such a shop, what are the reasons behind? In that case narrate any of your shopping experience in 300 words.

               My Grocery Shopping Experience

We need a lot of things to buy in our daily life from the grocery store. So, buying daily commodities from a grocery store is called grocery shopping. Grocery stores are everywhere in the world.

I have recently visited a grocery shop. I went to the grocery shop with my father to buy some necessary commodities.  My mother had already given us the list of necessary items. The shop was a little far from our house. It was late evening, so we walked without a rickshaw. The shop was beautifully decorated and large as it was a super shop. It was getting dark when we reached the shop. There were small beautiful lights in front of the shop which made the shop very attractive.

The store is always very busy due to its good services. People of our area usually come here to buy their necessary things. In the shop a doorman greeted us and we entered the store. I went inside and saw that the shop was very nicely adorned. Different items are arranged in different places so it is convenient for customers to find their necessary items. We walked around the store and bought things according to the given list of my mother. I saw a vast number of various things especially our daily necessary such as rice, dal, oil, potatoes, onions, eggs, salt, sugar, milk, noodles, pickles, bread, biscuits, cakes, honey, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, detergent powder, brush, cream, ice cream, cold drinks, juices, powdered drinks, mineral water, tea leaves, ginger, garlic, turmeric etc.  

We collected our all the items and went to the billing counter. My father paid the amount by cash and finally we returned home by rickshaw without any delay. The experience of visiting a grocery store is really enjoyable for me. I have learnt many things from it.
