Class five- English for Today -What to Do During an Earthquake

What to Do During an Earthquake:

•  Don't be panicked. Stay calm.! If possible, quickly open the door for exit. 

• If you're indoors, stay inside. If you're outside, stay outside.

• If you're indoors, stand against a wall near the center of the building, stand in a doorway, or move slowly under heavy furniture (a desk or table). Stay away from windows and outside doors. 

• If you're outdoors, stay in the open away from power lines or anything that might fall. Stay away from tall buildings. 

• Don't use matches, candles, or any flame.

ভূমিকম্পের সময় কী করবেন:

 আতঙ্কিত হবেন না। শান্ত থাক.! সম্ভব হলে দ্রুত প্রস্থান করার জন্য দরজাটি খুলুন।

আপনি যদি বাড়িতে থাকেন তবে ভিতরে থাকুন। আপনি যদি বাইরে থাকেন তবে বাইরে থাকুন।

যদি আপনি বাড়ির ভিতরে থাকেন তবে বিল্ডিংয়ের কেন্দ্রের নিকটে একটি প্রাচীরের বিরুদ্ধে দাঁড়ান, একটি দ্বারে প্রবেশ করুন, বা ভারী আসবাবের (একটি ডেস্ক বা টেবিল) নীচে আস্তে আস্তে যান। জানালা এবং বাইরের দরজা থেকে দূরে থাকুন।

আপনি যদি বাইরে থাকেন তবে বিদ্যুতের লাইনগুলি বা পড়তে পারে এমন কিছুই থেকে দূরে থাকুন। লম্বা বিল্ডিং থেকে দূরে থাকুন।

ম্যাচ, মোমবাতি বা কোনও শিখা ব্যবহার করবেন না।
