A Bus Station

A bus station is crowded place where the buses stop and start from. Every day and night many buses touch the station in different time. Generally it is situated at the junction of the roads or beside a market. It is not a permanent place for the passengers.

They wait there with great eager to get on the bus. In some bus stands there are counters for ticket and passengers stand in a line for buying tickets. It is a busy and noisy place. Constantly the shouting of the helpers, conductors, hawkers and the speech of the common are usually heard. Many types of hawkers are available who sell betel leaf, bread, fruit, newspaper etc. Beside the bus stands tea stalls are also found nearby. Many passengers, while waiting for buses, go there and refresh themselves taking a cup of tea or coffee. The bus stands in a city or, towns remain crowded throughout the day. When a bus stops at such a stand, there is an unusual bustle and hurry among the passengers. Some passengers hurry to get down from the bus, while passengers waiting for the bus want to get into it. As a result there is a great collision among the passengers. They push one another to get on it. At that time the drivers and the conductors are also very busy; their shouts are also heard. Actually, a bus station plays an important role in communication system of a country.
