The Floating Market

Floating market is a type of market which is run on boats floating on the canals or small rivers. It is the market where both the buyers and the sellers appear there with their goods and demands on boats or other water vehicles.

The floating market is generally seen in reverine countries. The market usually sits early in the morning and breaks up before noon. Such a floating market is found in Thailand.  In Bangkok there are a good number of canals where the floating market sits.  Here the sellers come with their goods from the nearby locality and display their goods for sale and the buyers choose their pick. The goods are like fruits, vegetables, farm-fresh coconuts, local food and delicious sweets. The sellers and buyers row their boats slowly and thus carry on their selling-buying activities. There lies one kind of good relationship among the buyers and sellers. Actually the floating market is free from noise and chaos. It also looks very beautiful.
