Dear A,

I got a letter from father a few hours ago. Reading his letter I have come to know that he is very much disappointed and shocked at the result of your Half Yearly Exam which is not up to the mark at all. I really wonder how you are getting on at school.

I believe that to be a student you are not dull and poor. But your discreditable results bear the testimony of your negligence in study. Perhaps, you always remain preoccupied with computer games, face book, internet and spending time with your friends. I do not ask you to avoid your friends but you cannot do anything at the cost of your academic progress. You must not forget that you are going to sit for JSC Examination this year. No doubt, very significant time is going on in your life because you have to sow the seeds for the future career now. If you misuse this precious time aimlessly, you have to repent for this throughout the life. Remember, nobody will toil for your success in life. You have to do it yourself.

Try to develop self-discipline and cultivate the good habits all the time. Make your daily routine and follow it strictly. Besides, give up all such company as is detrimental to you and your studies. Put up your hard and earnest labour in your studies.

Hope you can understand what I have wanted to say. I am keeping well.
