নতুন করে ঢেলে সাজানো হচ্ছে দেশের শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থা । মূল্যায়ন ও শিক্ষাক্রমে আমূল পরিবর্তন এনে নতুন শিক্ষাক্রম আগামী বছর থেকে বাস্তবায়ন করতে যাচ্ছে সরকার। জাতীয় শিক্ষাক্রম ও পাঠ্যপুস্তক বোর্ডের (এনসিটিবি) কর্মপরিকল্পনা অনুযায়ী, প্রাক্-প্রাথমিক থেকে উচ্চমাধ্যমিক স্তরের নতুন এই শিক্ষাক্রম আগামী ২০২৩ সাল থেকে পর্যায়ক্রমে বিভিন্ন শ্রেণিতে পুরোপুরি চালু হবে। এর মধ্যে ২০২৩ সালে প্রথম, ষষ্ঠ ও সপ্তম শ্রেণিতে নতুন শিক্ষাক্রম বাস্তবায়ন হবে। ২০২৪ সালে তৃতীয়, চতুর্থ, অষ্টম ও নবম শ্রেণিতে চালু হবে। ২০২৫ সালে পঞ্চম ও দশম শ্রেণিতে নতুন শিক্ষাক্রম চালু হবে। উচ্চমাধ্যমিকের একাদশ শ্রেণিতে ২০২৬ সালে ও দ্বাদশ শ্রেণিতে ২০২৭ সালে চালুর মধ্য দিয়ে পুরোপুরিভাবে নতুন শিক্ষাক্রম বাস্তবায়ন করা হবে।
